NVS Technologies NV08C Series Tracking GALILEO IOV Satellites

Montlingen, Switzerland, December 16th, 2011 – NVS Technologies AG is pleased to announce that its NV08C multi-constellation receiver series (NV08C-MCM and NV08C-CSM) is now capable of tracking navigation signals from GALILEO’s first two In-Orbit Validation (IOV) satellites, launched on October 21st, 2011 from the French/ESA Spaceport located in French Guiana (South America).
NVS Technologies’ NV08C receiver series has been capable of tracking signals from GALILEO’s GIOVE -A and GIOVE-B test satellites (launched between 2005 and 2008), and now capable of tracking IOV satellite signals as well.

The NV08C receiver series’ key feature is its full compatibility with existing Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GPS and GLONASS), future systems currently being deployed (GALILEO and COMPASS), as well as all Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN and Russia’s SDCM).
